You have a strong background in finance, with experience in financial reporting and operations. You understand the importance of accuracy and compliance in financial documentation and are skilled in managing the full financial reporting cycle. You thrive in a collaborative environment and enjoy working closely with senior leadership to influence financial decision-making. You are proactive in identifying areas for improvement and implementing scalable finance processes. You have a hands-on approach and are comfortable working in a small team, where your contributions can have a significant impact on the company's growth.
Desirable
Experience with financial automation tools and systems is a plus. Familiarity with cash flow forecasting and liquidity management will help you excel in this role. A background in working with external auditors and leading annual audits will be beneficial.
What you'll do
As a Financial Controller at Gorilla, you will own the full financial reporting cycle, preparing and reviewing management accounts, balance sheets, and P&L statements. You will ensure that all transactions are accurately recorded and supported by clear documentation. You will lead annual audits and act as the primary point of contact for external auditors, maintaining high standards of accuracy and compliance across the group. Your role will involve strengthening internal controls and improving clarity and ownership across finance processes. You will work on reducing reliance on external accountants by increasing internal ownership of financial tasks. Additionally, you will manage cash flow forecasting and provide visibility on liquidity and cash position, ensuring effective cash cycle management.
