Who you are
You have extensive experience in IT management and security, with a strong focus on maintaining optimal network performance and ensuring the security of company data and systems. Your proactive approach allows you to effectively oversee and manage all aspects of internal IT infrastructure, networking, system configurations, software, hardware, security, and compliance operations. You possess deep troubleshooting and diagnostic abilities for networking and systems, which enable you to address complex issues efficiently.
Your strong knowledge of cybersecurity frameworks, particularly NIST 800-171, equips you to navigate the intricacies of compliance and security management. You are detail-oriented and understand that precision is crucial in compliance, configuration, and security. Your ability to clearly explain complex IT and security issues to non-technical staff and leadership makes you an effective communicator and collaborator within the organization.
What you'll do
As the IT & Security Director at Govini, you will be responsible for overseeing IT operations and support, ensuring that all systems are configured and monitored effectively. You will manage security protocols and network performance optimization, driving compliance with the Cybersecurity Maturity Model Certification (CMMC) standards. Your role will involve collaborating with various teams to implement best practices in IT security and infrastructure management.
