Who you are
You have a proven track record in sales leadership, particularly in the healthcare or benefits industry, with at least 5 years of experience driving sales growth and managing high-performing teams. Your ability to build and maintain strong relationships with brokers and employer groups sets you apart, as you understand the nuances of consultative selling in a competitive market. You thrive in a results-oriented environment and are motivated by achieving and exceeding sales targets. You possess excellent communication skills, allowing you to articulate complex value propositions clearly and effectively to diverse audiences.
Desirable
Experience with Level-Funded and ICHRA products is a plus, as is familiarity with the healthcare landscape and the challenges faced by employers in providing health benefits. You are comfortable using data to inform your sales strategies and can leverage analytics to drive decision-making. Your leadership style is collaborative, and you enjoy mentoring and developing your team members to reach their full potential.
What you'll do
As the Vice President of Sales at Gravie, you will be responsible for developing and executing regional sales plans that target brokers, consultants, and mid-market employers. You will manage the full sales cycle, from lead generation to closing deals, ensuring a smooth transition from sale to implementation. Your role will involve maintaining a deep understanding of Gravieβs products and market positioning, allowing you to effectively communicate the unique value of our offerings. You will work closely with internal teams, including Underwriting, Marketing, and Account Management, to ensure alignment and support throughout the sales process.
You will also be tasked with achieving or exceeding annual new business sales goals for both Level-Funded and ICHRA products, driving consistent quote and close activity. Building strong, consultative relationships with key broker partners will be essential to your success, as you will need to foster trust and collaboration to drive sales performance. You will regularly analyze market trends and competitor activities to refine your sales strategies and identify new opportunities for growth.
