Who you are

You have 5+ years of experience in data analysis, particularly in the advertising or digital marketing space — you've developed a strong analytical mindset and can handle multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment. Your organizational skills are top-notch, allowing you to manage relationships with various ad tech partners effectively.

You are proficient in SQL and have experience with Google Analytics and Google Ads — you can create and maintain dashboards that track key performance metrics, providing actionable insights that drive performance improvements. Your ability to analyze data trends helps identify opportunities for revenue growth.

You thrive in collaborative environments and can work cross-functionally with product, engineering, and finance teams — your communication skills enable you to convey complex data insights to stakeholders clearly and effectively. You are comfortable managing vendor relationships and ensuring optimal ad performance.

Desirable

Experience with programmatic advertising and familiarity with mobile ad tech partners like Applovin, Google, and Meta would be a plus. A background in revenue operations or compliance initiatives can also enhance your candidacy.

What you'll do

In this role, you will be pivotal in managing day-to-day operations with programmatic ad vendors — you will create, prepare, and deliver weekly, monthly, and quarterly reports covering key metrics such as revenue, impressions, CPM, fill rates, and ad requests. Your analytical skills will be crucial in identifying trends and providing insights that drive performance improvements.

You will maintain dashboards for internal stakeholders, collaborating closely with the data engineering team to ensure accurate tracking of key ad performance metrics. Managing and maintaining relationships with mobile ad tech partners will be a significant part of your responsibilities, as you review key performance metrics for each partner and identify areas for improvement.

Additionally, you will support broader operational or compliance initiatives as needed — working cross-functionally with various teams to optimize programmatic ad operations and monitor the health of ad campaigns. Your role will require you to be in the Los Angeles office on Tuesdays and Thursdays, but you will also have the flexibility to work remotely on other days.

What we offer

Grindr offers a competitive base pay range of $125,000—$147,000 USD, along with equity, benefits, and a company bonus program.
