Who you are
You have a strong background in finance or equity analysis, ideally with a focus on healthcare sectors such as biotech and medtech. Your analytical skills are top-notch, allowing you to monitor and evaluate a coverage universe of public and private companies effectively. You possess excellent communication skills, enabling you to facilitate discussions with industry experts and KOLs, ensuring that insights are both accurate and valuable to clients. You are detail-oriented and committed to producing high-quality content that informs decision-making processes. A Ph.D. in a relevant field is preferred, showcasing your dedication to research and analysis in the healthcare domain.
What you'll do
In this role, you will be responsible for developing deep research coverage of Chinese biotech, medtech, and healthcare services companies. You will track key market and business drivers, including material news flows and earnings releases, to provide comprehensive insights. Your work will involve facilitating expert-led discussions and ensuring that the content created is relevant and valuable to Guidepoint's institutional clients. You will also lead efforts to recruit and vet experts, ensuring that the insights gathered are accurate and actionable. Collaborating closely with the Director of Research, you will contribute to the expansion of the Guidepoint Library, a central resource for transcript-based insights. Your role is critical in helping clients make informed decisions across various sectors, including healthcare, industrials, and technology.
