You have 7+ years of deep fundamental analyst experience ideally in a private equity setting — you follow a bottoms-up, fundamental approach to investment research focusing on company performance and market trends. Your background includes monitoring private equity deal activity across sectors, allowing you to facilitate pre-packaged due diligence systematically. You are skilled at conducting thorough company research, including reviewing earnings releases, analyzing regulatory filings, and reading investor presentations. You have experience moderating teleconferences on timely topics, featuring experts from your network to produce actionable insights for buy-side and private equity clients. You are also adept at building and managing teams, including expert recruiters and junior moderators, to enhance research capabilities. Your collaboration with AI teams to systematize diligence questions demonstrates your innovative approach to research solutions.

What you'll do

In this role, you will monitor private equity deal activity across various sectors, aiming to facilitate pre-packaged due diligence on companies systematically. You will conduct bottoms-up company research, which includes reviewing earnings releases, analyzing regulatory filings, and reading investor presentations to gather insights. You will moderate teleconferences featuring experts from Guidepoint’s network, producing actionable insights for buy-side and private equity clients. Additionally, you will build and manage a team of expert recruiters and junior moderators, ensuring that your team is equipped to handle the demands of the research process. Collaborating with the AI team, you will work to systematize diligence questions, aiming to automate fundamental research solutions such as customer checks and primers. Your leadership will be crucial in driving the Insights product forward, ensuring it meets the needs of Guidepoint's institutional investment and corporate clients.

What we offer

Guidepoint offers a competitive salary range of $200,000—$240,000, along with an annual discretionary bonus based on performance. This hybrid position allows you to work from our New York City office while also providing flexibility for remote work.
