You have experience in payroll processing and understand the importance of accuracy and compliance in managing payroll for both domestic and international employees. You are detail-oriented and can handle sensitive information with confidentiality, ensuring that all payroll cycles are executed on time. You thrive in a collaborative environment and are comfortable working with various teams to ensure smooth payroll operations.
You are proactive in identifying areas for improvement in payroll systems and processes, and you are committed to maintaining high standards in your work. You understand the significance of deadlines in payroll processing and are adept at managing your time effectively to meet these deadlines. You are also open to feedback and continuously seek to enhance your skills in payroll management.
What you'll do
As a Payroll Specialist at GumGum, you will be responsible for overseeing the entire payroll process, ensuring that all employees are paid accurately and on time. You will collaborate with the Accounting department to document processes and implement improvements where necessary. Your role will involve planning for each payroll cycle, ensuring compliance with relevant laws and regulations, and maintaining confidentiality throughout the payroll process.
You will also be instrumental in addressing any payroll-related inquiries from employees, providing them with the necessary support and information. Your attention to detail will be crucial in verifying payroll data and ensuring that all calculations are correct. You will work closely with HR to ensure that all employee records are up to date and that any changes are reflected in the payroll system.
