What you'll do
As the Strategic Projects Lead, you will oversee multi-week to multi-month coding data initiatives, coordinating efforts across various teams — your role will involve managing hundreds to thousands of SWE Fellows, ensuring that all technical evaluations and workflows are executed flawlessly. You will be accountable for delivery, margins, quality, and customer relationships, making sure that all projects align with Handshake's mission.
You will write and validate coding assessments, building rubric-driven code review processes that ensure high-quality outputs — your hands-on approach will allow you to quickly adapt workflows when systems and people need to flex to meet deadlines. You will also instrument quality signals to monitor project progress and outcomes, ensuring that all initiatives are on track.
Collaboration is key in this role, as you will work closely with AI labs, Fortune 500 partners, and educational institutions — your ability to manage relationships and communicate effectively will be crucial in driving project success. You will also be responsible for analyzing data and metrics to inform decision-making and improve processes continuously.
