What you'll do

As a Senior Software Engineer at Handshake, you will lead the design and development of core experiences that help students discover job opportunities. You will be responsible for creating scalable systems that power search and discovery functionalities across the platform. Your role will involve setting technical direction and ensuring high engineering quality as you work on AI-powered features, including a conversational AI agent that assists students with resume help and interview preparation.

You will collaborate with various stakeholders, including AI labs and educational institutions, to understand user needs and translate them into technical solutions. Your contributions will directly impact how students navigate their career paths in the AI economy, making your work both meaningful and rewarding. You will also mentor junior engineers, sharing your knowledge and expertise to foster a culture of learning and growth within the team.
