You have a strong background in information security, with at least 5 years of experience in a security engineering role. You understand the complexities of securing software applications and have a proven track record of implementing security measures that protect sensitive data. Your expertise includes knowledge of security protocols, risk management, and compliance standards relevant to the healthcare industry.
You are a proactive problem solver who can identify vulnerabilities and implement effective solutions. You thrive in collaborative environments and enjoy working with cross-functional teams to enhance security practices. Your communication skills allow you to articulate security concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders, ensuring everyone understands the importance of security in mental health care.
What you'll do
In this role, you will be responsible for assessing and improving the security posture of Headway's technology platform. You will conduct security audits and vulnerability assessments to identify potential risks and recommend remediation strategies. Collaborating closely with engineering teams, you will implement security best practices throughout the software development lifecycle, ensuring that security is integrated into every phase of product development.
You will also stay updated on the latest security threats and trends, adapting Headway's security strategies accordingly. Your role will involve developing and maintaining security policies and procedures, ensuring compliance with relevant regulations and standards.
