Who you are

You are mechanically inclined — you've always had a knack for fixing things and a natural curiosity about how things work. You enjoy taking things apart only to put them back together and are extremely comfortable handling tools and materials. You have a strong understanding of HVAC systems, plumbing, and electrical systems, which allows you to tackle a variety of maintenance tasks effectively.

You are programmatic — you can identify the system component that is causing an error, as well as the options available for resolving it and completing the task. Your ability to troubleshoot and prioritize repair schedules ensures that production remains uninterrupted. You communicate effectively with personnel to coordinate maintenance needs and keep management informed of significant concerns.

What you'll do

As a Maintenance Technician I at HelloFresh, you will be responsible for the general maintenance and repairs of our building, grounds, and equipment. You will ensure that the facility is maintained at a high level, performing general cleaning in a timely manner when needed and upholding safety standards. Your shift will be from Sunday to Wednesday, 8:00 PM to 6:30 AM.

You will maintain and repair complex machinery, including conveyor systems, HVAC equipment, scanners, automatic doors, and dock doors. Monitoring equipment and performing troubleshooting for problems and breakdowns will be a key part of your role. You will also maintain and repair facilities, which includes basic carpentry, plumbing, and electrical systems.

Conducting regular facility inspections will be part of your responsibilities, and you will provide recommendations to repair or replace poorly functioning equipment. You will efficiently prioritize the repair schedule to ensure an uninterrupted production schedule and assist personnel as needed. Your role will require you to communicate regularly with personnel to ensure that repairs and maintenance needs are met and coordinated with production schedules.
