Maintenance Technician I • Entry-Level

Who you are

You are a proactive individual with a strong commitment to maintaining facilities and ensuring safety. You have experience in performing preventative and routine maintenance tasks, and you are comfortable working independently as well as collaborating with other facilities staff. You understand the importance of regular attendance and are willing to work overtime, weekends, and holidays as needed. You are also prepared to be on call for emergencies or disaster work.

What you'll do

As a Maintenance Technician I, you will be responsible for a variety of skilled maintenance duties related to GLIDE's facilities. You will troubleshoot issues quickly and efficiently, repairing or replacing parts and equipment as necessary. You will collaborate with contracted maintenance specialists to perform repairs and ensure that all safety precautions are followed at all times. Your role is critical in maintaining the functionality and safety of the organization's facilities, contributing to GLIDE's mission of social justice and community support.
