Who you are
You have a strong commitment to workplace safety and health, with experience in environmental management, compliance, and occupational safety. You understand the importance of OSHA compliance and have the ability to educate and train others on safety protocols. Your background includes risk management and occupational health, making you a valuable asset to the safety team.
You thrive in a hands-on environment, actively engaging with the production floor to identify safety risks and implement solutions. Your attention to detail and proactive approach help you to effectively assist management during accident investigations and root cause analyses. You are a subject matter expert in safety and security, providing guidance and support to your colleagues.
What you'll do
As a Safety Coordinator, you will work closely with the Site Safety Manager to spearhead safety initiatives within the distribution center. Your role involves ensuring compliance with OSHA regulations, including overseeing powered industrial trucks, conducting new hire safety training, and maintaining necessary recordkeeping such as OSHA 300 Logs. You will be a visible presence on the production floor, identifying safety risks and collaborating with the EHS site teams to address them.
You will conduct EHS-related audits and respond to identified gaps, ensuring that safety standards are upheld. Your responsibilities also include coordinating ergonomics and safety training for other associates, fostering a culture of safety throughout the organization. You will play a crucial role in promoting HelloFresh's vision and inspiring change within the workplace.
