Who you are
You have experience in warehouse management and operations, with a strong focus on logistics and distribution. You understand the importance of compliance with safety and quality standards, and you are skilled at coaching and guiding teams to maximize productivity. Your leadership style fosters a culture aligned with company values, ensuring high levels of internal and external customer service. You are adept at investigating and resolving customer issues, and you have a track record of implementing effective processes and procedures.
Desirable
Experience in continuous improvement initiatives and training program development is a plus. Familiarity with GMP and SQF policies will help you excel in this role. You are proactive in maintaining high technical integrity within warehouse operations and have a keen eye for detail when performing internal audits.
What you'll do
As the Area Manager, Warehouse, you will oversee the strategic operations within the functional areas of receiving, shipping, storage, and distribution of goods. You will direct activities and provide coaching to associates, leads, and supervisors, ensuring that the team operates at maximum productivity. You will work closely with senior management to execute company directives and maintain compliance with all safety, GMP, and SQF policies. Your role will involve investigating customer issues and complaints, managing essential warehouse functions, and coordinating objectives with production procedures to maximize product reliability while minimizing costs. You will also design and implement training programs based on quarterly performance reviews, ensuring that all warehouse personnel are aligned with the company's quality philosophy.
