What you'll do

As the Area Manager, Warehouse, you will oversee the strategic operations of the warehouse, ensuring that all functional areas are running efficiently. You will direct activities related to receiving, shipping, storage, and distribution of goods, while also managing compliance with safety and quality standards. Your role involves coaching and guiding team members to maximize productivity and maintain high technical integrity in warehouse functions. You will collaborate with other plant managers to coordinate objectives and enhance product reliability while minimizing costs. Additionally, you will be responsible for conducting internal audits and implementing processes and procedures that align with company goals.

You will play an active role in continuous improvement teams, contributing to the development of a culture focused on quality and efficiency. Your responsibilities will also include designing and implementing training programs for warehouse personnel, ensuring that all team members are equipped with the necessary skills to perform their roles effectively. You will interact with procurement to ensure that inventory levels are adequate, addressing any supply chain issues that may arise. Your leadership will be crucial in cultivating a positive work environment that prioritizes customer service and operational excellence.
