Who you are

You have a trade qualification as a Mechanical Fitter and at least 5 years of experience maintaining electromechanical machinery. Your background includes 3 years specifically within the food industry, where you have honed your skills in metal fabrication and Stainless TIG welding. You possess a strong understanding of automated machinery, HACCP, and GMP standards, which are crucial for maintaining high-quality processes in a food production environment. You are a strong leader who can work unsupervised and communicate effectively, both in writing and verbally. Your analytical thinking and problem-solving abilities enable you to tackle challenges efficiently. You are resilient, professional, and have a high work ethic, making you an approachable and flexible team member.

What you'll do

As a Maintenance Fitter at HelloFresh, you will be responsible for maintaining all equipment at the Youfoodz facility. Your role will involve performing scheduled preventative maintenance work across the facility and responding to production calls to fault-find and rectify equipment and machinery issues. You will assist in developing processes aimed at driving continuous improvement and reducing machinery downtime. Additionally, you will help maintain stock levels for critical spare parts and support capital projects and new equipment installations as required. Reporting on daily findings and activities during shift handovers will be part of your responsibilities, ensuring that quality processes and procedures are adhered to during your work.
