Operations Manager • Mid-Level

Who you are

As a Transportplaner, you will take charge of planning, coordinating, and monitoring all transport operations between our production sites and connected logistics depots. You will serve as the central point of contact for our teams from production, the Last Mile network, and external partners. You will face operational challenges daily while also having the opportunity to actively participate in the continuous optimization of existing Middle Mile processes. Your role will involve managing complex processes, including the independent strategic planning and monitoring of all outbound transports—from pickup at the production site to integration into logistics depots.

You will utilize existing IT solutions for system-based planning and automation, continuously developing automation and existing processes. Effective stakeholder management is crucial, as you will need to communicate confidently and purposefully with transport partners and internal production areas, acting as a central interface for operational deviations. You will also engage in disruption and risk management, proactively developing robust workarounds for ad-hoc solutions when critical obstacles and complex challenges arise.

What you'll do

In this role, you will oversee the entire transport process, ensuring that all operations run smoothly and efficiently. You will be responsible for creating detailed, data-driven reports and order lists, deriving actionable insights from performance data. Your ability to communicate effectively with various stakeholders will be essential in maintaining operational excellence and addressing any issues that may arise during transport operations.

You will also have the chance to contribute to the optimization of our Middle Mile processes, ensuring that we continually improve our logistics operations.
