Who you are

You have over 5 years of experience in project management, particularly in the design and execution of retrofit and refurbishment projects. Your deep understanding of MEP systems and architectural design allows you to navigate complex project requirements effectively. You excel in coordinating with various stakeholders, ensuring that all parties are aligned and informed throughout the project lifecycle. Your ability to manage technical risks and maintain compliance with safety standards is paramount in your role. You thrive in brownfield environments, where operational continuity is critical, and you have a proven track record of minimizing disruptions during project execution.

Desirable

Experience in managing projects across multiple countries is a plus, as is familiarity with international building codes and standards. You are comfortable using design software such as AutoCAD to create and review project plans. Your strong communication skills enable you to articulate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders, fostering collaboration and understanding.

What you'll do

In your role as Senior Design and MEP Manager, you will act as a senior technical partner for retrofit, refurbishment, and alteration projects within HelloFresh’s distribution centers. You will support Project Managers in defining project scope, phasing, and execution strategies that prioritize operational efficiency and compliance. Your responsibilities will include managing the MEP and architectural design processes, ensuring that all designs are practical and aligned with site constraints. You will serve as the primary technical interface between internal stakeholders and external consultants, coordinating design reviews and technical decision-making to ensure alignment across all teams.

You will also be responsible for overseeing the execution readiness of projects, ensuring that all necessary preparations are in place before work begins. This includes conducting risk assessments and developing mitigation strategies to address potential challenges. Your role will require close collaboration with Project Managers, operations teams, and contractors to ensure that projects are delivered on time and within budget.
