Who you are
You are a highly organized and meticulous individual with a strong background in accounting, particularly in payroll and benefits. Your attention to detail is exceptional, and you have a commitment to executing tasks thoughtfully and accurately. You understand the importance of working with sensitive data and are dedicated to maintaining the integrity of financial records. You proactively identify and communicate any discrepancies, ensuring that all payroll-related expenses are recognized correctly.
With experience in month-end close duties, you are familiar with preparing and posting journal entries, performing detailed account reconciliations, and conducting variance analysis. You thrive in collaborative environments and are comfortable partnering with stakeholders to ensure the completeness and accuracy of financial data. Your integrity and professionalism make you a trusted member of the finance team.
What you'll do
In this role, you will manage all aspects of compensation and benefits accounting for HelloFresh's US brands. You will perform month-end close duties, including recording journal entries and preparing balance sheet reconciliations. Your responsibilities will also involve analyzing actuals to budget variances and investigating any anomalies that arise. You will partner with various stakeholders to ensure the accuracy of month-end accruals and provide insights into financial trends by reviewing P&L and balance sheet accounts.
Your role will require you to drive the reconciliation of data discrepancies, ensuring that all financial records are accurate and up-to-date. You will contribute significantly to the audit readiness of the finance team, preparing necessary documentation and ensuring compliance with internal controls. Your proactive approach will help identify areas for improvement in financial processes, enhancing the overall efficiency of the finance team.
