Who you are
You have a strong background in sheet metal fabrication and are eager to work in a high-speed aircraft manufacturing environment. You enjoy collaborating with machinists, engineers, and technicians to ensure the smooth operation of cutting and metal forming shops. Your attention to detail and commitment to quality will contribute to the production of aerospace components that meet rigorous standards.
You are adaptable and willing to learn various fabrication techniques, including CNC operation, manual water jet operations, CNC bending, and manual forming operations. Your ability to work in a fast-paced environment will help you thrive in this role, where you will gain valuable insights into the manufacturing process of high-precision aerospace components.
What you'll do
As a Sheet Metal Fabricator at Hermeus, you will play a crucial role in supporting the daily operations of our high-volume cutting shop and metal forming shop. You will be responsible for fabricating parts for aerospace applications, ensuring that each component meets the required specifications and quality standards. You will work closely with experienced machinists and engineers, gaining hands-on experience in the production of next-gen development vehicles.
Your responsibilities will include operating CNC machines, performing manual water jet operations, and executing CNC bending and manual forming tasks. You will be expected to maintain a clean and organized workspace while adhering to safety protocols. Your contributions will directly impact the efficiency and effectiveness of our manufacturing processes, helping to deliver capabilities that support national defense initiatives.
