You are adept at using design software such as AutoCAD and SolidWorks, enabling you to create detailed plans and specifications for manufacturing processes. What you'll do

In this role, you will take full ownership of establishing and operating our internal sheet metal fabrication shop — this includes everything from design feedback and process definition to equipment procurement and qualification. You will lead the development of new production capabilities, ensuring that they meet the high standards required for hypersonic aircraft components. Your hands-on approach will be crucial as you work directly with the fabrication team to implement best practices and optimize workflows.

You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including design and engineering, to ensure that production processes align with project goals — your ability to communicate effectively will be essential in translating technical requirements into actionable plans. As you ramp up production capabilities, you will monitor performance metrics and make adjustments as necessary to maintain quality and efficiency.
