Who you are
You are a motivated student pursuing a degree in engineering or a related field, eager to gain practical experience in manufacturing processes. You have a strong interest in aerospace and are excited about the opportunity to work on high-Mach and hypersonic aircraft projects. Your academic background has equipped you with foundational engineering principles, and you are ready to apply them in a real-world setting. You possess good communication skills and are comfortable collaborating with a team to achieve common goals.
What you'll do
As a Manufacturing Engineering Intern at Hermeus, you will work closely with the Manufacturing Engineering team to assist in the design, build, and testing of advanced aircraft systems. You will participate in hands-on manufacturing tasks, learning about the processes involved in creating high-speed aircraft. Your role will involve supporting various engineering projects, conducting research, and contributing to the development of innovative solutions that enhance manufacturing efficiency. You will also have the opportunity to engage with cross-functional teams, gaining insights into how different engineering disciplines collaborate to achieve project objectives.
