What you'll do

As a Human Machine Interface (HMI) Software Engineering Intern at Hermeus, you will work closely with a team of engineers to design and implement intuitive user interfaces for our unmanned aircraft systems. Your primary focus will be on developing control systems that support both remotely piloted and autonomous flight modes. You will have the opportunity to work with C++ and web technologies, including TypeScript and JavaScript, to create engaging and user-friendly interfaces.

Throughout the summer, you will participate in the full software development lifecycle, from initial design to testing and deployment. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams, including hardware engineers and system architects, to ensure that the software meets the needs of our users and aligns with the overall project goals. This internship will provide you with valuable hands-on experience in software engineering and user interface design, preparing you for a successful career in the aerospace industry.
