You are adept at collaborating with various stakeholders, including engineering, production, and quality assurance teams, to ensure that all aspects of the manufacturing process align with project goals.

What you'll do

As the Avionics Shop Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the development and optimization of avionics harnessing and electro-mechanical assembly capabilities. You will lead a team of engineers and technicians, fostering a collaborative environment that encourages innovation and efficiency. Your role will involve defining processes that enhance manufacturing speed and reliability while maintaining a commitment to cost reduction.

You will work closely with the Department of Defense and other stakeholders to ensure that the capabilities developed meet national interests and defense requirements. Your leadership will be instrumental in driving the team towards achieving high-performance standards in manufacturing, ensuring that all products are built to the highest quality specifications.

In addition to managing day-to-day operations, you will also be involved in strategic planning and resource allocation to support the growth of the avionics shop. You will implement best practices in manufacturing and continuously seek opportunities for improvement, leveraging your technical expertise to guide the team in adopting new technologies and methodologies.
