Backend Engineer • Mid-Level

Who you are

You have a solid background in backend engineering, with experience in designing and building services within a service-oriented architecture. You are proficient in Java and have experience working with REST APIs, which allows you to create efficient and effective backend solutions. Your collaborative nature enables you to work well with other engineers, product managers, and end users to deliver high-quality features.

What you'll do

As a Software Engineer II, you will design and build backend services that support the fulfillment and pharmacy operations at Hims & Hers. You will collaborate with a team of backend engineers and UI engineers to ensure seamless integration of services. Your role will involve driving feature delivery from technical design to production deployment, ensuring that the platform meets the needs of both internal teams and customers.

You will also be responsible for testing and supporting the platform, addressing any issues that arise to maintain a high level of service reliability. Your contributions will directly impact the customer experience, making healthcare more accessible and personalized.
