Overview
HomeVision is hiring a Site Reliability Engineer to build and maintain infrastructure for their SaaS products. You'll work primarily with AWS and Terraform to support developers and enhance platform reliability. This position requires 2+ years of SRE or cloud operations experience.
Job Description
Who you are
You have 2+ years of experience in Site Reliability Engineering or cloud operations, preferably with AWS. Your background includes at least 1 year of software development experience, allowing you to tackle various software development projects related to authentication, reliability, and observability. You take a data-driven approach to your work and have a strong attention to detail, which helps you build high-quality systems. You are willing to work across both cloud infrastructure and IT tasks when needed, demonstrating your versatility and commitment to the team's success.
Desirable
Experience with Terraform or other Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools is a bonus, as is any experience or interest in database administration. Being located in Seattle or San Francisco is also a plus, but not a requirement.
What you'll do
As a Site Reliability Engineer at HomeVision, you will be responsible for building and maintaining the infrastructure for our SaaS products, primarily hosted on AWS. You will create tooling and manage platform components to support developers, ensuring that they have the resources they need to work efficiently. Your role will involve tackling software development projects that focus on enhancing authentication, reliability, and observability within our systems. You will also assist with day-to-day needs such as setting up testing environments and managing deployments. Additionally, you will handle IT tasks like onboarding new team members and account provisioning, contributing to a smooth operational flow.
