Who you are

You have a strong background in engineering management with a focus on building and leading teams β€” you understand the importance of fostering a collaborative and productive environment. You are a player-coach who enjoys being involved in the technical aspects of projects while also guiding your team members to grow in their roles. Your experience includes managing multiple teams and ensuring alignment with product vision and goals. You have a strong technical vision that allows you to implement effective solutions for customer problems, and you are always looking for ways to improve team performance and autonomy. You are skilled in coaching Technical Leads and providing them with the feedback they need to succeed. You thrive in a fast-paced environment and are comfortable working closely with Product Managers to cultivate a strong product vision.

Desirable

Experience with AI technologies is a plus, as well as familiarity with Go-To-Market strategies and systems. You are also open to learning and adapting to new technologies that can enhance your team's capabilities.

What you'll do

As the Engineering Manager for the Flywheel Sales Agents team, you will oversee two teams of engineers dedicated to building innovative AI-enabled products that support HubSpot’s Sales team. You will be responsible for setting the technical direction and ensuring that your teams are aligned with the overall product strategy. You will actively participate in the development process, providing hands-on support and guidance to your engineers. Your role will involve regular one-on-ones with team members to discuss their career development and performance, fostering a culture of continuous improvement. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Product Managers and Technical Leads, to ensure that the products being developed meet customer needs and drive business growth. You will also implement processes that encourage team autonomy and innovation, helping your teams to become more self-sufficient over time.
