You have extensive experience in software engineering, particularly in security-focused roles, and have a proven track record of designing and implementing secure systems. You possess strong coding skills, particularly in Java, and are familiar with various security frameworks and tools. Your experience includes hands-on development, allowing you to contribute directly to codebases while also guiding architectural decisions. You are a natural leader, capable of mentoring junior engineers and fostering a culture of security awareness within your team. Desirable

What you'll do
In this role, you will take the lead in shaping HubSpot's security posture by developing secure identity and access solutions. You will collaborate with product teams to ensure that security is a fundamental aspect of all new features and enhancements. Your responsibilities will include conducting security assessments, identifying vulnerabilities, and implementing effective mitigation strategies. You will also be involved in code reviews, ensuring that security best practices are followed throughout the development process.
You will work closely with cross-functional teams to translate organizational priorities into secure engineering outcomes. This includes defining security requirements for new projects and providing guidance on secure coding practices. You will also play a key role in incident response, helping to investigate and remediate security incidents as they arise.
