Security Engineer • Lead

Who you are

You are an experienced Principal Security Architect with a strong background in designing and implementing enterprise-class network and cloud security solutions. With over 5 years of experience in security architecture, you have a proven track record of leading security initiatives across hybrid cloud and on-prem environments. You possess deep technical expertise in security tools and frameworks, particularly with Palo Alto Networks and Cisco security platforms. Your strategic mindset allows you to influence global security architecture while mentoring engineers and collaborating with cross-functional teams to protect digital assets at scale.

You have hands-on experience with security controls, network segmentation, and zero-trust access models. Your knowledge extends to secure connectivity strategies across WAN, remote access, data centers, and cloud networks. You are a subject matter expert in Palo Alto Networks firewalls, Prisma Access, and Panorama, and you excel in security configuration and policy enforcement on Cisco platforms such as ASA, ISE, Firepower, and Umbrella. You are adept at hardening security for multi-cloud platforms including AWS, Azure, and GCP, focusing on IAM, VPCs, firewalls, and API security.

What you'll do

In this role, you will lead the design and evolution of security controls across our hybrid cloud and on-prem environments. You will architect and implement network segmentation, next-gen firewall policies, and zero-trust access models to enhance our security posture. As a technology owner, you will serve as the subject matter expert for Palo Alto Networks and Cisco security platforms, leading security configuration, lifecycle management, and policy enforcement.

You will also lead threat detection and response for network and infrastructure incidents, collaborating with the Security Operations Center (SOC), Governance, Risk, and Compliance (GRC) teams, and infrastructure teams to close security gaps and maintain compliance. Your role will involve continuously improving security monitoring, alerting, and forensics capabilities to ensure the integrity of our systems.
