Overview

HubSpot is hiring a Sales Manager to lead a team of Strategic Sales Specialists in North America. You'll be responsible for building and coaching a high-performing sales team while operationalizing sales strategies. This role requires strong leadership skills and experience in sales management.

Who you are

You are an experienced sales leader with a proven track record of building and managing high-performing sales teams. You have a deep understanding of the sales cycle and know how to coach and develop sales professionals to achieve their quotas. Your leadership style focuses on inclusivity and empowerment, ensuring that your team members feel valued and motivated to succeed.

You have experience in the Mid-Market segment and understand the unique challenges and opportunities that come with selling to this audience. You are data-driven and can leverage analytics to inform your sales strategies and decisions. You thrive in a collaborative environment and enjoy working closely with cross-functional teams to drive growth.

What you'll do

In this role, you will inherit, recruit, onboard, and develop a team of 8-10 Strategic Sales Specialists. You will lead your team through the full sales cycle, from prospecting to closing deals. Your focus will be on operationalizing a proven sales motion while continuously refining and scaling what works. You will contribute feedback, best practices, and repeatable playbooks that will influence how specialization scales across Mid-Market.

You will work closely with the Director of Sales Specialization to define and scale the Service Specialization sales motion for HubSpot's Service Solutions. Your responsibilities will include setting clear performance expectations, conducting regular performance reviews, and providing ongoing coaching and support to your team members. You will also collaborate with marketing and product teams to ensure alignment on sales strategies and messaging.
