What you'll do

As a Senior Software Engineer II at HubSpot, you will design and build backend services and APIs for marketing Email, SMS, and WhatsApp creation, management, and publishing. You will own and evolve shared infrastructure used across the Messaging team, ensuring that it meets the needs of various product areas.

You will lead complex, cross-team projects that typically span 3–6 months, coordinating efforts across multiple services and data stores. Your role will involve tackling complex reliability and data challenges, shaping the core architecture that underpins the Messaging products.

You will collaborate with product managers, designers, and other engineers to ensure that the solutions you build align with user needs and business goals. Your contributions will directly impact the scalability and reliability of HubSpot's messaging capabilities, enabling other teams to ship quickly on top of a well-defined platform.
