Who you are

You have 5+ years of experience in MLOps or related fields, with a strong background in building and maintaining machine learning infrastructure. Your expertise in deploying models at scale has equipped you with the skills to manage edge deployment pipelines effectively. You are proficient in Python and have hands-on experience with containerization technologies like Docker and orchestration tools such as Kubernetes.

You understand the nuances of machine learning workflows and have experience collaborating with cross-functional teams, including applied machine learning and software engineering. Your ability to communicate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders makes you an invaluable team member. You are passionate about sports technology and are excited about the impact your work can have on athletes and coaches.

Desirable

Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS or GCP is a plus, as is familiarity with CI/CD practices. Knowledge of data pipelines and model training processes will help you excel in this role. You are a proactive problem solver who enjoys tackling challenges and continuously improving processes.

What you'll do

As a Senior MLOps Engineer at Hudl, you will design, develop, and maintain the scalable edge infrastructure that powers our smart cameras. You will lead the deployment of machine learning models from training clusters to thousands of devices worldwide, ensuring seamless integration and performance. Your role will involve collaborating closely with the Applied Machine Learning team in London and software squads in the Netherlands and the U.S. to build the next generation of automated sports capture technology.

You will be responsible for optimizing deployment pipelines, monitoring model performance, and implementing best practices for model management. Your work will directly impact the efficiency and effectiveness of our products, enabling coaches and athletes to capture and analyze their games in innovative ways. You will also contribute to the development of internal tools and frameworks that enhance our machine learning capabilities.
