Who you are

You have a strong background in engineering management, with experience leading teams in the AI and machine learning space. You understand the intricacies of MLOps and have a passion for bridging the gap between research and practical applications. Your leadership style is collaborative, and you thrive in environments where you can mentor and guide your team while also contributing technically. You are comfortable with hands-on work, spending a portion of your time architecting solutions and writing tooling. You value a supportive culture and are committed to fostering an inclusive environment where all team members can thrive.

Desirable

Experience with edge infrastructure and smart camera technologies is a plus. Familiarity with agile methodologies and cross-functional collaboration will help you succeed in this role. You are proactive in identifying challenges and removing friction in processes, ensuring smooth operations between teams.

What you'll do

As the Engineering Manager, you will lead a specialized team focused on MLOps infrastructure that powers innovative features like Tactical View and autonomous tracking. You will be responsible for shaping the team's roadmap and ensuring alignment with the broader AI/ML organization. Your role will involve strategic planning, resource allocation, and performance management, as well as hands-on technical contributions. You will collaborate closely with the Embedded squad in the Netherlands to enhance the integration of AI models with device capabilities. Your leadership will be crucial in driving the team's success and fostering a culture of continuous learning and improvement.
