You have a strong background in cybersecurity, with experience in incident response and security operations. You understand the importance of protecting internal systems with the same rigor as external clients, and you are adept at strategizing with cross-functional teams to enhance security resilience. Your ability to anticipate blockers and guide teams through the incident response lifecycle is key to your success in this role.
You thrive in a fully remote environment, collaborating effectively with team members across various functions. Your communication skills allow you to articulate security strategies clearly and work closely with leadership to implement effective security measures. You are proactive in identifying potential security threats and are committed to continuous improvement in security practices.
What you'll do
As a Senior CSIRT Analyst at Huntress, you will be the cornerstone of our internal security resilience. You will act as the primary internal escalation point from our Security Operations Center (SOC), ensuring that we protect ourselves with the same rigor and products we use for our customers. Your responsibilities will include strategizing with leaders across multiple functions to identify work streams and own the end-to-end incident response lifecycle. You will guide teams, determine key milestones, and proactively anticipate blockers that could impede our security efforts.
You will also be responsible for developing and implementing incident response plans, conducting security assessments, and ensuring compliance with industry standards. Your role will involve collaborating with various teams to enhance our security posture and mitigate risks effectively. You will stay updated on the latest cybersecurity trends and threats, ensuring that our internal practices remain robust and effective.
What we offer
Huntress offers a competitive compensation range of $195,000 to $210,000, plus bonuses and equity. As part of a fully remote global team, you will have the flexibility to work from anywhere in the United States.
