Job Description
Who you are
You have a strong background in cybersecurity, with a focus on incident response and vulnerability management — your experience includes leading teams and developing security strategies that protect organizations from cyber threats. You understand the importance of a unified security vision and have a proven track record of managing attack surfaces effectively.
You possess excellent communication skills, enabling you to collaborate with cross-functional teams, including product and engineering — your ability to articulate security needs and strategies to non-technical stakeholders is a key strength. You are passionate about building a culture of security within the organization and mentoring team members to enhance their skills.
What you'll do
As the Director of Product Security and Incident Response, you will be responsible for developing and executing a comprehensive security roadmap — you will lead the offensive security team, ensuring that Huntress's products are resilient against adversaries. Your role will involve preparing the organization for incident response, managing vulnerabilities, and collaborating closely with the CISO and other teams to enhance security measures.
You will oversee the implementation of security protocols and best practices, ensuring that all products meet the highest security standards — your strategic leadership will guide the team in identifying potential threats and mitigating risks effectively. You will also be involved in incident response planning and execution, ensuring that the organization is prepared to handle security incidents swiftly and efficiently.
What we offer
Huntress offers a competitive compensation package, including a base salary ranging from $220,000 to $240,000, plus bonuses and equity — you will be part of a fully remote, global team dedicated to making a difference in cybersecurity. We foster a collaborative environment where your contributions will have a significant impact on our mission to protect businesses worldwide.
Join us in our mission to break down barriers to cybersecurity and make a real difference in the industry — we encourage you to apply even if your experience doesn't match every requirement. Together, we can elevate under-resourced IT teams and provide enterprise-grade security solutions.
