Your background includes mechanical, electrical, and instrumentation work, allowing you to tackle a wide range of maintenance tasks effectively. You thrive in a hands-on environment and are comfortable working on different systems throughout the plant. You understand the importance of safety and efficiency in maintenance operations, ensuring that all work is completed to the highest standards.

You have a strong problem-solving mindset, enabling you to diagnose issues quickly and implement effective solutions. Your ability to work collaboratively with other tradespeople and departments is essential, as you often coordinate with team members to ensure seamless operations. You are adaptable and can handle the demands of a 2nd shift schedule, working from 3:00 pm to 11:00 pm.

What you'll do

In this role, you will be responsible for the maintenance and installation of plant equipment, focusing on mechanical, electrical, and instrumentation systems. You will perform routine inspections and preventive maintenance to ensure equipment operates efficiently and safely. When issues arise, you will diagnose problems and execute repairs promptly to minimize downtime. Your expertise will be crucial in maintaining the overall functionality of the plant, contributing to a safe and productive work environment.

You will also collaborate with other technicians and engineers to improve maintenance processes and implement best practices. Your role may involve training and mentoring less experienced team members, sharing your knowledge and skills to enhance the team's capabilities. You will be expected to maintain accurate records of maintenance activities and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives within the facility.
