Who you are

You have 4-6 years of proven work experience in software quality assurance, demonstrating a strong knowledge of testing methodologies and processes. You are skilled in developing and executing test plans and scripts, ensuring that products meet the highest quality standards. Your attention to detail allows you to identify and document bugs effectively, and you are comfortable liaising with internal teams to understand system requirements.

You possess a solid understanding of automation tools and are capable of designing and developing automation scripts using open-source tools. Your experience includes performing thorough regression testing and data validations to ensure that all functionalities work as expected. You stay up-to-date with new testing tools and strategies, continuously seeking to improve testing processes.

What you'll do

In this role, you will be responsible for reviewing requirements, specifications, and technical design documents to provide timely and meaningful feedback. You will create detailed, comprehensive, and well-structured test plans and test cases, estimating, prioritizing, planning, and coordinating testing activities. You will design, develop, and execute automation scripts, identifying and documenting bugs thoroughly while tracking their resolution.

You will perform thorough regression testing when bugs are resolved and develop and apply testing processes for new and existing products to meet client needs. Your role will involve monitoring debugging process results and investigating the causes of non-conforming software, training users to implement solutions. You will also track quality assurance metrics, such as defect densities and open defect counts, to ensure continuous improvement in quality standards.
