What you'll do

As a Senior Software Engineer on the Data Platform team, you will be responsible for developing and maintaining backend systems that power Instacart's grocery delivery services. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to design features that enhance user experience and improve system performance. Your role will involve solving challenging scaling problems and ensuring tight integration with major retailers across Canada and the US.

You will have the opportunity to contribute to the evolution of the grocery industry, leveraging your technical skills to build systems that are both efficient and user-friendly. You will also play a key role in mentoring junior engineers and sharing your expertise within the team.

What we offer

Instacart offers a competitive salary range for this role, with base pay between CAD $168,000 and CAD $177,500. You will also be eligible for a new hire equity grant and annual refresh grants, reflecting our commitment to rewarding your contributions.
