As a Staff Software Engineer on the FoodStorm team, you will play a pivotal role in modernizing the on-demand ordering, catering, and prepared food platform. You will contribute to rearchitecting the system using a service-oriented architecture (SOA) approach, focusing on building efficient, scalable, and maintainable solutions. Your hands-on coding will be complemented by deep problem-solving and close collaboration with cross-functional teams, including product management and design. You will lead technical discussions and mentor junior engineers, fostering a culture of learning and growth within the team. Your contributions will directly impact the customer experience, ensuring that Instacart continues to meet the varied needs of its community.
