Who you are
You are an energetic and outgoing individual who is tech-savvy and enjoys engaging with others. You have a fascination with how AI and robots perceive the world, and you thrive in social settings, making connections with fellow students on campus. Your ability to communicate effectively and create excitement around technology is one of your key strengths.
You are comfortable using technology, particularly mobile applications, and you understand the importance of data quality in machine learning. You are detail-oriented and can ensure that data collection sessions are conducted with precision, following specific instructions for lighting and framing.
What you'll do
In this role, you will be the face of Instawork's robotics initiatives on your campus. Your primary mission will be to engage and recruit fellow students to participate in paid data recording sessions. You will guide them through the process of capturing high-quality video and sensor data, ensuring that they understand the purpose of the technology and the significance of their contributions.
You will be responsible for quality control during data collection, making sure that all instructions are followed to produce usable data for training computer vision models. Your role will also involve educating participants about the technology, creating excitement and interest in robotics and AI.
