You are passionate about contributing to the advancement of robotics technology and are eager to make a meaningful impact on your campus.

What you'll do

In this role, you will be the face of Instawork's robotics initiatives on your campus, engaging and recruiting fellow students to participate in paid data collection sessions. You will guide participants through the process of recording high-quality video and sensor data, ensuring that all instructions are followed to produce usable data for machine learning. You will also educate participants about the purpose of the technology, creating excitement and interest in robotics and AI.

Your responsibilities will include approaching students in various campus locations such as quads, student unions, and study areas to invite them to participate in data sessions. You will capture data using an iPhone app, ensuring that the quality of the recordings meets the necessary standards for machine learning applications. You will play a crucial role in helping train computer vision models that will power future robotics technologies.
