Instructure is hiring a Sales Manager to lead the Business & Government Sales team in North America. You'll work with sales reps to identify and capture new sales opportunities. This position requires a solid understanding of Canvas learning platforms.

Who you are
You have a proven track record in sales leadership, particularly in managing teams focused on business and government accounts. Your experience includes developing sales strategies and mentoring sales representatives to achieve their targets. You understand the nuances of the education technology landscape and have a solid grasp of how to leverage products like Canvas to meet client needs.
You are a strategic thinker who can analyze market trends and identify new opportunities for growth. Your ability to build relationships with key stakeholders and decision-makers is essential, as you will be working closely with various teams within the organization to drive success. You thrive in a remote work environment and are comfortable managing a large region effectively.
What you'll do
As the Sales Manager, you will lead the Business & Government Sales team, focusing on new logo accounts across North America. Your primary responsibility will be to develop and execute sales strategies that align with the company's goals. You will work closely with your team to identify, qualify, and capture new sales opportunities, ensuring that quarterly and annual targets are met.
You will also play a crucial role in developing your sales representatives, providing them with the guidance and support they need to succeed. This includes conducting regular training sessions, offering feedback on performance, and helping them navigate complex sales processes. Collaboration with cross-functional teams will be key, as you will need to work with marketing, product, and customer success teams to ensure a seamless experience for clients.
In addition to managing your team, you will be responsible for building regional strategies that drive growth and expand the company's footprint in the business and government sectors. You will analyze sales data and market trends to inform your strategies and make data-driven decisions that enhance performance.
