Who you are
You have extensive experience in sales compensation strategy, ideally with a focus on global programs. You understand the intricacies of designing compensation structures that align with go-to-market strategies and corporate objectives. Your background includes strong cross-functional collaboration with teams such as Finance, Sales, Customer Success, HR, and IT. You are a strategic thinker who can advise senior leadership and the executive team on compensation governance and best practices. You thrive in a fast-paced environment and are adept at scaling compensation programs as organizations grow. You possess excellent communication skills, allowing you to convey complex compensation strategies clearly and effectively to various stakeholders.
What you'll do
In this role, you will lead the global strategy for sales compensation at Instructure, ensuring that all programs are effective and scalable as the company approaches $1B in revenue. You will develop compensation structures that not only motivate sales teams but also align with the overall business objectives. Collaborating closely with senior GTM leadership, you will serve as a key advisor, providing insights and recommendations on compensation governance. You will also oversee the implementation of compensation programs, ensuring they are compliant with legal and regulatory standards. Your role will involve analyzing compensation data to assess the effectiveness of current programs and making adjustments as necessary to optimize performance. You will lead initiatives to educate and train sales teams on compensation structures, ensuring clarity and understanding across the organization. Additionally, you will work on continuous improvement of compensation processes, leveraging technology and data analytics to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
