Basis AI is hiring a Sales Manager to lead a team of Account Executives and drive revenue growth during a critical scaling phase. You'll design and implement a new outbound sales motion targeting mid-market and enterprise accounting firms. This position requires 5+ years of experience in high-growth B2B SaaS sales.

Who you are

You have 5+ years of experience in high-growth B2B SaaS sales, with at least 2 years in a management or team lead capacity — you've successfully led teams and driven revenue growth in competitive environments. Your background includes a strong knowledge of the accounting industry, fintech, or complex professional services workflows, allowing you to effectively communicate the value of AI agents to accounting firms.

You possess a proven ability to build new sales motions from scratch — whether it's standing up outbound programs or developing territory strategies, you thrive on creating scalable sales engines. Your excellent written and verbal communication skills enable you to articulate strategies and motivate your team to achieve aggressive monthly and quarterly revenue targets.

What you'll do

As the Sales Manager at Basis AI, you will lead a team of Account Executives, focusing on driving revenue growth during our most critical scaling phase. You will design and implement a new outbound sales motion, transitioning from reactive demand fulfillment to a proactive, scalable engine targeting mid-market and enterprise accounting firms. Your role will involve managing, coaching, and growing a high-performing team, ensuring they are equipped to hit ambitious revenue targets.

You will refine our sales playbook, overseeing the sales motion from initial discovery to close, and ensuring the team effectively communicates the value of our AI agents. Additionally, you will provide visibility into the sales pipeline, identifying market trends and adjusting strategies in real-time to maximize effectiveness. Your leadership will be crucial in navigating the challenges of scaling our sales efforts and achieving our growth objectives.
