What you'll do

As a Lead Business Control Officer, you will support various business units in managing their risks proactively. You will work closely with the 2nd and 3rd lines of defense to ensure that risk management practices are integrated into the business processes. Your role will involve developing and implementing risk management strategies that align with Nubank's objectives and regulatory requirements. You will also be responsible for identifying potential risks and recommending mitigation strategies to enhance the organization's risk maturity.

You will lead initiatives to strengthen the risk management framework within the first line of defense, ensuring that all business units are equipped to manage their risks effectively. This includes conducting risk assessments, facilitating training sessions, and providing guidance on best practices. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to foster a culture of risk awareness and accountability throughout the organization.
