Who you are

You are an experienced HR professional with a strong background in employee relations and performance management. With over 5 years of experience in a similar role, you have successfully partnered with senior leadership to align HR strategies with business objectives. You possess a deep understanding of employment law and are adept at developing and implementing HR policies that ensure compliance and support organizational goals. Your ability to coach and support managers in navigating complex HR issues makes you a trusted advisor within the organization.

You thrive in collaborative environments and enjoy working closely with various stakeholders to drive talent development and succession planning. Your strong communication skills enable you to effectively convey HR policies and procedures, ensuring that all employees understand their application. You are committed to promoting a fair and consistent approach to HR practices, fostering a positive workplace culture.

Desirable

Experience in a technology-driven environment is a plus, as is familiarity with HR software and tools that enhance HR operations. You may also have a background in change management, which would further support your ability to guide the organization through transitions and transformations.

What you'll do

In your role as a Senior HR Business Partner at InterSystems, you will collaborate closely with senior management and departmental leaders to address a wide range of HR-related matters. You will serve as a strategic partner, providing guidance on employee relations, performance management, and talent development initiatives. Your expertise will be crucial in managing complex employee relations cases, including grievances and conflict resolution, ensuring that all processes are handled fairly and legally.

You will take the lead in developing and refining HR policies and procedures, keeping them aligned with current employment legislation and corporate standards. This includes maintaining a centralized repository of HR policies that is easily accessible to all employees. You will also coach managers on the application of these policies, providing practical training and advice to ensure consistency across the organization.

Additionally, you will manage the background screening process and oversee the Flexible Working process, ensuring that all requests are handled consistently and in accordance with company policy. Your role will involve regular collaboration with various departments to align HR initiatives with the company’s long-term strategic goals, making you a key player in the organization’s success.
