Job Description

Who you are

You have extensive experience in incident management, particularly in high-severity situations, where you've acted as the Incident Commander to ensure rapid service restoration and effective communication with stakeholders. Your ability to coordinate across various teams, including SRE, engineering, and support, is crucial for maintaining service reliability in a mission-critical environment.

You understand the importance of service level indicators and objectives, prioritizing customer impact reduction during live incidents over root cause analysis. Your leadership in post-incident reviews has led to measurable improvements in operational reliability, demonstrating your commitment to turning failures into learning opportunities.

What you'll do

In this role, you will lead the end-to-end management of P1 and P2 major incidents affecting InterSystems' managed services customers. You will serve as the single point of coordination for these incidents, ensuring timely and accurate communications to customers, partners, and internal teams. Your responsibilities will include managing executive-level updates during prolonged or high-risk incidents and leading post-incident reviews to analyze root causes and implement improvements.

You will work closely with various teams to ensure that incidents are handled efficiently, maintaining customer trust and platform resilience. Your role is critical in a 24x7 operational environment, where you will drive operational excellence and uphold the highest standards of service reliability.

What we offer

InterSystems provides a supportive environment where you can thrive in your role as Major Incident Lead. You will have the opportunity to work with a dedicated team focused on delivering exceptional service to customers worldwide. We encourage you to apply even if your experience doesn't match every requirement, as we value diverse perspectives and backgrounds.

Join us in our mission to unlock the power of data and enhance service reliability across our platforms. We offer competitive compensation and a culture that prioritizes professional growth and development.
