Nebius AI is seeking an Incident Response Lead to enhance the company's global cyber incident response capabilities. You'll be responsible for managing high-severity security incidents and ensuring compliance across cloud and infrastructure environments. Who you are
You have extensive experience in incident response and cybersecurity, with a proven track record of managing high-severity security incidents. Your deep technical expertise allows you to assess impacts accurately and coordinate effectively with executive leadership during crises. You thrive under pressure and are adept at navigating highly regulated environments, ensuring compliance and rapid containment of incidents. Your leadership skills enable you to guide teams through complex situations, fostering a culture of continuous improvement in detection and response capabilities.
You possess strong analytical skills and can leverage data to inform decision-making processes. Your ability to communicate clearly and effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders is essential, as you will be responsible for regulatory-compliant communications during incidents. You are proactive in identifying potential vulnerabilities and implementing strategies to mitigate risks before they escalate into incidents.
Desirable
Experience with cloud infrastructure and platform environments is a plus, as is familiarity with AI and machine learning technologies. You may have certifications in cybersecurity or incident response, which further validate your expertise in the field. A background in working with cross-functional teams to enhance security protocols and incident response strategies will set you apart.
What you'll do
As the Incident Response Lead at Nebius AI, you will own and mature the company's global cyber incident response capability. This includes leading the response execution for high-severity security incidents and ensuring that all actions taken are compliant with regulatory requirements. You will coordinate with various teams across the organization to ensure a unified response to incidents, facilitating post-incident learning to improve future responses.
Your role will involve developing and implementing incident response plans, conducting regular training and simulations to prepare the team for potential incidents, and continuously assessing and enhancing the company's detection and response capabilities. You will also be responsible for maintaining documentation related to incidents and responses, ensuring that lessons learned are captured and integrated into future strategies.
Collaboration is key in this role, as you will work closely with the CISO Office and other departments to align incident response efforts with overall security strategies. You will also engage with external partners and stakeholders as necessary to ensure comprehensive incident management.
