Who you are

You have a strong background in Kubernetes and are passionate about container orchestration. With experience in deploying and managing Kubernetes clusters, you understand the intricacies of RBAC, network policies, and security frameworks. You thrive in collaborative environments, working closely with DevOps, SRE, and security teams to deliver reliable Kubernetes solutions. Your automation skills are top-notch, and you have hands-on experience with tools like Terraform, Helm, and ArgoCD to streamline cluster provisioning and application deployment.

You are familiar with CI/CD integration and have successfully implemented GitOps practices in your previous roles. Your troubleshooting skills are exceptional, allowing you to diagnose performance issues and ensure the health of Kubernetes clusters. You are comfortable operating in cloud environments, including AWS, Azure, and GCP, and have experience with backup and restore strategies using tools like Velero or Kasten.

Desirable

Experience with observability tools such as Prometheus and Grafana is a plus, as is familiarity with logging solutions like Fluentd. You are always eager to learn and adapt to new technologies, ensuring that you stay at the forefront of the Kubernetes ecosystem.

What you'll do

In this role, you will be responsible for deploying, managing, and upgrading Kubernetes clusters across on-premises and public cloud platforms. You will implement robust security measures and automation processes to ensure that our Kubernetes environments are efficient and secure. Collaborating with application developers and SREs, you will help establish best practices for Kubernetes usage and support the integration of Kubernetes with modern CI/CD workflows.

You will also focus on monitoring and troubleshooting Kubernetes clusters, implementing observability solutions to maintain high availability and performance. Your role will involve working with various cloud providers, ensuring that our Kubernetes workloads are optimized for both cost and performance. You will contribute to the development of reusable modules for consistent infrastructure delivery across staging and production environments.
