You have a strong technical authority in Kubernetes architecture and can influence cloud and platform strategy effectively. Your experience includes mentoring engineers across DevOps, Site Reliability Engineering, and platform teams, ensuring that best practices are followed in complex environments.

You possess a strategic mindset while also being hands-on, allowing you to engage with both high-level architectural decisions and the intricate details of Kubernetes platform design. Your ability to define and maintain reference architectures and design patterns for Kubernetes platforms across various environments is a key strength. You thrive in collaborative settings and can lead architectural reviews, providing guidance on cluster design, networking, security, scaling, and multi-region strategies.

Desirable

Experience with hybrid and multi-cloud environments is a plus, as is familiarity with managed services and SaaS platforms. You are comfortable influencing long-term platform strategy and tooling selection, and you have a knack for solving complex platform challenges.

What you'll do

In this role, you will act as a senior technical authority for Kubernetes architecture across managed services and SaaS platforms. You will lead the design of large-scale Kubernetes platforms, ensuring they are secure, resilient, and highly automated. Your responsibilities will include defining reference architectures, establishing engineering standards, and solving complex platform challenges.

You will influence the long-term platform strategy and collaborate with various teams to ensure that the Kubernetes environments you design meet the highest standards of performance and reliability. Mentoring engineers will be a critical part of your role, as you guide them in best practices and innovative solutions.
